BREAKING: Gas Explosion Rocks Lagos Spare Parts Market Many Feared Dead | DETAILS

A gas explosion has rocked the Ladipo spare parts market in the Mushin Local Government area of Lagos State, killing at least five persons.

The incident happened today, Tuesday, November 16 at the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) domestic retail centre located on Ojekunle Street at.

A spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye, while speaking to newsmen said they have recovered the bodies of four adults, comprising of three men and a woman identified as one Mama Funmi.
Unfortunately, a 10-year-old boy who was rescued and taken to the hospital, died before getting to the medical centre.

The fire has been put off, however, the Lagos State Fire Service, Police, NEMA and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) are still making efforts to rescue others possibly trapped at the scene.
