BREAKING: How Nelson Mandela's youngest Daughter, Zindzi died

Zindzi Mandela, daughter to the late former South African President, Nelson Mandela, has reportedly died on Monday, July 13, 2020.

According to reports reaching AFNEWS at this hour, the 59-year-old mother of four died in the early hour of today at the Johannesburg hospital.

AFNEWS understands that the deceased is the eldest daughter of Mandela's second wife, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela. Her death was confirmed by the Nelson Mandela Foundation and also via a post on the Instagram page of one of her sibling, Bambatha Mandela.
Though the cause of Zindzi's death is yet to be disclosed, it was, however, understood that she left behind four children to her husband.

The deceased is a seasoned writer who has written and published several articles and books. Naija News also understands that Zindzi and one of her siblings have on several occasions became spokespersons their imprisoned parents.

It could be recalled that her father, Nelson Mandela, who served as the first black head of state to South Africa had died on December 5th, 2013.
