Mrs Seriya Raji, mother of the Chief of Staff to Kogi State governor, Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku has been kidnapped by yet to be identified hoodlums.

Reports says the woman was kidnapped at her residence in Nagazi community, in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State, on Monday evening.

Eyewitnesses said the incident happened at about 7:40pm, after the victim had observed her evening prayer in a mosque within her residence.

Her abductors who were said to have stormed the residence wearing black suits and face masks, whisked her away in a car they came with to an unknown destination.

The abductors are yet to contact the family to make any demand.
