BREAKING (OUK VS MAO): INEC WITHDRAWS APPEAL AGAINST SENATOR MAO OHUABUNWA

The court of Appeal sitting in Owerri has this afternoon struck out an appeal filed by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) challenging the judgment of the National and state Assembly Election petition tribunal which nullified the declaration of Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu as Senator of Abia North.

The Appeal court dismissed the appeal by INEC as they received notice of withdrawal from the case by INEC.

The appeal still available before the judges are that of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and APC
