BREAKING(Anambra): Court Re-schedules Judgment In Suit Seeking Soludo's Disqualification

A Federal High Court in Abuja, has re-scheduled pronouncing judgement in a suit seeking for Prof. Chukwuma Soludo to be disqualified as a candidate in the November 6, 2021, Anambra governorship election.

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported that Soludo, the Anambra State Governor elect, was dragged to court for allegedly submitting a false affidavit to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). READ HERE

In the suit filed in the Federal High Court Abuja, marked FHC/ABJ/CS/711/2021, the plaintiffs; Adindu Valentine and Egwudike Chukwuebuka are challenging the qualification of Soludo and Deputy governor-elect, Onyeka Ibezim, to contest the November 6 governorship election in the state.

The presiding judge, Justice Taiwo Oladipupo Taiwo after hearing the parties arguments, fixed November 30, 2021 to rule on the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/711/2021.

A notice just sighted in the court room by DAILY POST showed that the suit has adjusted by 24 hours as the Judge will not sit today as earlier scheduled.

No reason was given for the adjustment, however, the notice apologized to lawyers involved in the case while urging them to bear with the court.
