Buhari Pays Tribute To Vigilantes Killed In Katsina | READ DETAILS
President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the attack on vigilantes who were on a rescue mission for rustled cows in Kankara local government area of Katsina state.

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported that 41 vigilantes and residents totalling 71, were ambushed and killed by bandits who had rustled the cows of residents on Sunday. READ HERE

Reacting, the president in a statement signed by Garba Shehu, his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity assured that the bravery and sacrifice of the vigilantes whom he described as martyrs, will not be forgotten.

President Muhammadu Buhari condemns the attack on vigilantes at Yargoje forest in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, where many lives were lost.

The insurgents ambushed a convoy of vigilantes in the forest as they went to recover stolen cows leading to the killings.

The President pays tribute to all those vigilantes and family members who have been martyred today, saying that the sacrifices of the brave men who are working to prevent and punish crime in their communities will not be forgotten.
