A Catholic Priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr Ejike Mbaka, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign honourably or be impeached.

The priest while speaking at the Adoration ground on Wednesday, decried the incessant killings, dehumanization and intimidation in the country, warning that a looming disaster is coming and will affect everyone.

Mbaka charged the House of Representative members and Senators to impeach the President or face something worse than what they can never imagine.
" Like God will ask Nigerians; Nigerians why are you crying; we are crying because our leaders have failed us woefully.

" if it is in a civilized country, by now President Buhari would have resigned.

Noting Nigerians criticism as he had supported President Buhari he said;

" I know that many people will begin to fight me ... Mbaka did you not pray for Buhari? Did Samuel not pray for Paul? What are you talking about? Am I the creator of Buhari? God created him, Nigerians trusted him because he did well sometime but now how can people be dying, the chief security officer, the custodial of lives and properties will be sitting down not making any comment, gunmen attacking everywhere."

Mbaka mentioned that ' overseas have become dumping ground for our indigenous youths, young men, young doctors running away to countries we are better off'.

He further urged the government against attacking people who speak up for development, adding that the holy spirit will attack him if he fails to speak the truth.
"Nigerians are crying because there is no security in this country, House of representatives should impeach the President if he doesn't want to resign.

"if the members of the two Houses do not want to impeach him and they want to begin to fight Mbaka, something worse than what they can never imagine will happen to the members of House of Representatives and the Senate. He added " disaster is comingÔÇØ

Mbaka lamented on the increase in food prices, taxation and the withdrawal of foreign investors, he queried " are we living or are we dyingÔÇØ?

"people should go to the farm, after farming, herdsmen will eat the crops and herdsmen will not be branded as terrorists.
