BUHARI'S VISIT: Why We Are Not Worried About IPOB - Imo Govt
Ahead of the Tuesday visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Imo State, the state government has waved off security concerns amid the sit-at-home order imposed by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Speaking on Arise Television, monitored by All Facts Newspaper on Monday, Declan Emelumba, the Imo state Commissioner for Information, noted that the people of Imo are excited over the planned visit of the president and as such won't pose any security challenge.

He added that the state government has beefed up security, coupled with the security details of the president.

I don't think anybody will stop them (Imo people) from savoring the joy and stop them from coming out to see their president" Emelumba said.

Buhari is expected to commission Orlu- Owerri road, Orlu- Okigwe road and the state House of Assembly complex.

Imo state stakeholders are expected to interface with the president at a banquet after the commissioning.
