CALL ORJI UZOR KALU TO ORDER BEFORE IT BECOMES TOO LATE - MAO OHUABUNWA

Addressing newsmen today in a press conference, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa raised grave issues bothering on the integrity of the Commission following the assertion of Dr Uzor Kalu that the forthcoming election was going to be a fulfillment of all righteousness.

"Remember that Dr Kalu has never ceased to say that this election is a must win for him and that he has all the security apparatus under his lock and key", Senator Mao said.

"Knowing his antecedents, I am raising this alarm. If you recollect, in 2015 he procured the returning officer who abandoned his function to do the bidding of Orji Uzor Kalu.

Orji Kalu has boasted that he is with the list of results, saying the security agencies - especially the military - is in his control. He has said that he will make the military mobilize heavy artilleries like Armoured Personel Carriers (APC) to my house, and place him under house arrest on the day of the elections."

We cannot ignore him, knowing the evil he portends. He cannot take us back to the days where idolatry and witchcraft reigned supreme in the state.

When asked if he had notified INEC and the several security agencies, Senator Ohuabunwa responded in the positive, saying he has responded through his lawyers but is yet to get any response from any of them.

He furthermore said that any result which does not tally with that of those gotten from the polling units will be rejected by him and his party.
