CHILDREN'S DAY: Let's Be Intentional About Children's Right To Education - Chima Nwafor
Engineer Chima Nwafor (Nana), a Governorship candidate in the recently concluded election in Abia State has felicitated with Nigerian children as they mark the 2023 international children's day.
Nwafor while celebrating children, called for their welfare, wellbeing and education to be prioritized noting that "one uneducated child is a threat to our future."
He also called on adults to always be on the look out for children to protect them from every form of abuse and neglect.

"Today is set aside for the celebration of our children, God's precious gift and the very tonic of our lives. In like manner, adults are invited to recollect their experiences as children as a reminder of where we are all coming from.

"Let us be intentional about the children's right to education. We must as a spiritual responsibility treat every child with more than a passive interest as they reflect our overall commitment to the cause of humanity. One uneducated child is a threat to our future.

"By every means, please let us promote the welfare of the children entrusted in our care. Be vigilant, look out for children around you to ensure they are protected from abuse or neglect of any kind. A nation is as healthy as the welfare of their children.

Today, we ask God with the innocence of a child to visit every family trusting Him for the gift of a Child. May God make those who seek His face to be blessed beyond their expectations."
