Chima Anyaso Hails Otti's Two-Year Milestone, Says Opposition Struggling to Keep Up

As the administration of Dr. Alex Chioma Otti marks its second year in office, the political atmosphere in Abia State continues to shift dramatically. According to Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, a prominent political figure and Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2023 elections, Governor Otti's performance has made it increasingly difficult for opposition parties to maintain a credible stance against his government.

Speaking during a series of strategic meetings with YPP leaders and Bende Local Government stakeholders, Dr. Anyaso hailed the developmental strides achieved under Governor Otti's leadership. He noted that the Governor's administration has ushered in a new era of infrastructural transformation, transparency, and people-focused governance that resonates with the majority of Abians.

"Even though a few dissenting voices try to downplay the progress being made, the truth is that the majority of Abians support Governor Otti's vision and leadership,ÔÇØ Dr. Anyaso stated. "These voices of dissent represent a minority group that struggles to recognize good governance when they see it.ÔÇØ

The Igbere-born businessman and politician, who has long been an advocate for development in the Bende Federal Constituency, pointed out that Otti's numerous achievements-including ongoing road construction, free basic education, and renovation of schools and hospitals-have made it extremely challenging for opposition figures to mount a serious critique without appearing disconnected from the reality on ground.

He emphasized that the democratic structure in Nigeria and Abia State ensures that the voice of the majority prevails, and in this case, that majority is fully behind Otti.

According to Anyaso, the Governor's practical policies and swift execution of key projects have gained overwhelming support across party lines. "As someone who believes in the power of good governance, I won't hesitate to commend Governor Otti for what he has done within just two years. His administration is changing lives and transforming the state,ÔÇØ he said.
