Chief Chinasa Demands Deputy Speaker Deliver on Promises to Ndi Bende

Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa urges the Deputy Speaker to honor his promises to the people of Bende, emphasizing the importance of leadership that serves the public interest over personal ambition.

Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa has issued a strong call to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, urging him to fulfill the promises made to the people of Bende, Abia State. Speaking during a radio interactive session, Chief emphasized that true politics is about serving the people, not pursuing personal ambitions.

In his remarks, Chief Chinasa expressed disappointment over the Deputy Speaker's approach, particularly in light of a recent viral video where the Deputy Speaker made controversial assertions. Chief criticized the idea of treating Abia as a mere "gift" to the Deputy Speaker's party, arguing that such a prime position should be leveraged to bring significant benefits to the constituents of Bende.

Chief Chinasa revealed that his decision to withdraw his electoral petition against the Deputy Speaker during the tribunal was motivated by a commitment to the development of Bende, Abia, and the Southeast region as a whole. He explained that his withdrawal was rooted in the hope that the Deputy Speaker's high office would translate into meaningful progress for the region, with a focus on collective good over individual gain.

However, Chief voiced concerns that, despite high expectations, the promised benefits from the Deputy Speaker's position have yet to materialize. He underscored the importance of leaders delivering on their commitments, pointing to the transformative impact of Dr. Alex Chioma Otti's administration as a model of leadership that genuinely serves the people.
