CORONAVIRUS: Bauchi govt bans social, religious gathering of more than 50 persons

Bauchi state government has ban social and religious gathering of more than fifty (50) people as part of measures to contain the Corona Virus in the state.

To this end, all public and private schools have been shut down with effect from Monday 23rd March.

The state governor senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed made this known after a high powered stakeholders meeting comprising Religious leaders, traditional leaders and head of security agencies at the council chamber of the government house.
Bala Muhammed said the decision followed extensive deliberation as obtained in other part of the state.
