COVID-19: Abia lawmaker urges constituents to obey govt guidelines

The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha wishes to use this medium to call on members of his constituents to be precautious and vigilant against the Corona Virus pandemic which is spreading across the world today.

In a press statement personally signed by him, the lawmaker urged the people of Arochukwu LGA to strictly adhere to the instructions which have been made available by the state government, by washing their hands regularly and social distancing.

According to the statement, it advises members of his constituents to cover their mouths while coughing and sneezing, avoid markets and crowded places, stay at home if one is feeling sick.

The lawmaker in the statement encourages the people to report any suspecting case of the disease by calling the number 07002242362

The statement enjoined all Abians to join hands with the Governor who has adopted various measures to ensure that we all fight against this pandemic together, and urged all not to relent.
