COVID-19: Delta Assembly member showers constituents with food items, N10m cash

To enhance the comfort of constituents and to ensure they happily observe the seat at home order of the state government, Member representing Ndokwa East State constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, and former Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi today Wednesday 1st April 2020 released the sum of Ten Million Naira, 650 bags of rice, 600 cartons of noodles and other food items for members of his constituency.

In an exclusive AFNews interview with his media aide Imalah Ugochichyere, he revealed the detail of the items donated by Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi to support his constituents during the lock down as 650 bags of rice, 250 cartons of groundnut oil, 500 cartons of tin tomatoes and N10, 000, 000(ten million naira) cash.

AFNews gathered that the Ten Million Naira cash was handed over to the national president of all community chairmen of Ndokwa East and the leader of all Clan Youth presidents, Comr. Benjamin Onwugbolu and Afam Oseji respectively for sharing.

While, the 650 bags of rice and other food items were delivered to the PDP woman leader in the area,Mrs. Tina Eriano who has been mandated to reach out to every house hold in Ndokwa East, especially the poor and downtrodden to hinder them from going out during the two weeks lockdown.

Apart from the donations, the former Deputy Speaker also gave his constituents access to his fish lake which is one of the biggest in Delta state.
