According to her, the promo was to give back to consumers who had been the company's pillar of support and to encourage them for their patronage.

Speaking in Ibadan while handing over cheques to Shittu Ibitayo, Biliaminu Kehinde and Adepegba Adekunle, who won one million Naira each in the ongoing promo, Sanni said 500 customers would win one million Naira each, 100 customers would win five million Naira each, in addition to 32 million Naira unit of gifts on ground to be won by customers.

"The promo started on July 5, we say thank you and appreciate Nigerians for their patronage and loyalty. We urge them to do business with us," she said.

Oyo State Director, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Fasanmi Omotayo, said Dangote was one of the leading indigenous companies in Nigeria that reached out to its consumers, adding that "this is not the first time of doing such."
