In a significant development in the ongoing defamation lawsuit between Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Kenneth Ahia and Ikechukwu Iroha, the claimant officially closed his case today, February 11, 2025. The case, which has drawn widespread public attention, was heard in court today, with a crucial witness giving testimony before the presiding judge adjourned proceedings to March 18, 2025.

During the brief session, Barrister Wilson Kalu, a witness for Ahia, adopted his witness statement on oath. He confirmed that he has been friends with Ikechukwu Iroha, who reportedly changed his name to Ikechukwu Iroha Agwu in October 2023. The witness further stated that he continues to receive social media posts from Iroha, including as recently as this morning.

The defense counsel, representing Iroha, conducted a cross-examination, focusing on the witness's ability to verify social media activities. The lawyer notably asked Barrister Kalu if he worked for Facebook, implying doubts about his ability to authenticate online activities.
