DIVORCE: My Husband Requests Unusual Things From Me -Woman Tells Court | READ DETAILS

A six-year-old marriage between Kaosara Okeowo, a trader, and her husband, Lateef, has been dissolved by a customary court in Mapo, Ibadan in Oyo state, over alleged threat to life.

Kaosara, had told the court that her life was in danger because her husband wants to use her for ritual.

In her testimony before the court, she said; "My Lord, things are not going on well. He requests for unusual and personal things from me.ÔÇØ Lateef however denied the allegation.

When his opinion was sought, Lateef said; ÔÇØShe can go if she wants to leave. I want the court to order her to return the cooking utensils, clothes and a big ram in her custodyÔÇØ.

On his part, Lateef's father argued that his son was not a ritualist, adding that his daughter-in-law was an opportunist who had seen another man with more money.
In his ruling, the president of the court, Chief Ademola Odunade, dissolved the marriage in the interest of peace. He however awarded custody of the two children to Kaosara.

Also, Lateef was ordered to pay N10,000 as child support.
