DJ Bags Imprisonment For Cloning Buratai and Dangote's Daughters' Facebook Account | SEE DETAILS

A Disc Jockey, Blessed Michael has been sentenced to six months imprisonment for cloning the Facebook accounts of former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai (rtd) and Mariya Dangote, daughter of Aliko Dangote, and using the false identities to solicit money from unsuspecting victims under various guise.

According to the EFCC, Michael used the cloned Facebook account of Buratai's daughter to solicit from some persons seeking enlistment into the Nigerian Army.

The convict was said to have left a phone number in the cloned Facebook account of Dangote's daughter. He reportedly invited his targeted victims to call and claim a certain amount of money.

Unfortunately for the DJ, victims of the scam alerted the Commission, leading to the arrest of the fraudster by operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Office of the EFCC.

The convict was prosecuted by Justice Mohammed Tukur of the Kaduna State High Court, on a one-count amended charge bordering on cheating by impersonation.
