DON NORMAN OBINNA GRANTED BAIL, PROSECUTION COUNSELS PROTEST

Journalist and activist, Obinna Don Norman who has been detained for several weeks now due to allegations of cyber bullying and terrorism by the state has been granted bail by the High Court sitting in Umuahia, pending on his meeting bail conditions.
Don Norman who was arrested by men of the Nigerian police on the 1st of March, 2019, during a radio program at Flo Fm in Umuahia and detained in the Afara Ibeku Prison in Umuahia, has been an ardent critic of his former principal and incumbent senator representing Abia Central senatorial district, Senator T. A Orji.

Don Norman who was granted bail by the judge yesterday, is yet to meet the conditions set by the jury as the counsel to the state is still protesting the conditions.
