The commotion in APGA Abia State seems to be more confusing every
new day. Based on the current information made available to Abia Facts
News, another faction led by Onapuruagu Prince Ukaegbu Esq. has warned
Chief Victor Ike Oye, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere and others against tampering the
Dr. Alex Otti's tribunal petition.

The attention of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA,
Abia State Chapter has been drawn to the shenanigans being played by the former
national chairman Chief Victor Ike Oye and his faction of APGA to abort the
party's Governorship election petition at the Tribunal in Umuahia.

As the custodian of Ofor APGA and the de jure Abia State
Chairman of our great party I condemned this action in its entirety.

It's noteworthy that the Court Order preserving my
Chairmanship still subsists and the challenge against me has not received any
further judicial pronouncement.

It is also on record that on the 4th day of July, 2019 a
High Court of Delta State Holden in Kwale set aside the purported ward, LGA,
State congresses and Convention held by Oye and his co-travellers which they
used to justify their continued impunity and thus removed any veneer of
authority in their masquerade of superintending over the affairs of APGA.

Earlier on too, a High Court of The Federal Capital
Territory, Abuja on the 28th day of May, 2019 restrained Oye and Co. from
convening a national convention to elect officers of the party.

Striking out APGA from the election petition add nor
subtract from the merit or otherwise of the case. The actions of these
individuals only goes to show their mindless determination to shut down any
voice calling for propriety and honour in the running of the affairs of the
party.

This is the height of pettiness and a further reason why
they have no business running the affairs of our great party.

Conversely, filing false information before a court of law
is perjury and criminal and I have therefore instructed the state legal adviser
to take all actions available to us in law and today 22/07/19 we approached the
Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Umuahia with a view to
setting the record straight and exposing these impostors.
