Ember Months: Abia Police Command Assures Residents Of Security

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Janet E. Agbede have reassured all Abians of Security of their lives and property in these ember months. She also assured them of their safety before, during and after the proposed Local Government Elections. This is contained in a press release signed by PPRO SP Ogbonna Geoffrey and sent to AFNEWS.

In the press release, the commissioner of police also enjoined politicians not to heat up the polity during the electioneering process.

"The Police and other Security Agencies in the State will not hesitate in clamping down on any person or group attempting to scuttle the electoral process or perpetrate any act/conduct capable of causing breach of the peace in the State".

Meanwhile security agents have been deployed across the State to ensure that there will be no loss of lives and property before, during and after the election as well as the Yuletide period.

Security is a collective responsibility, volunteer promptly credible information that would enhance the productivity of the law enforcement agents.
