EXCLUSIVE: Why I Want To Represent Abia Central Senatorial District - ADC Aspirant Franklin Nwaubani

A 2023 Abia Central Senatorial District aspirant under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Franklin Ikenna Nwaubani has assured that he would bridge the gap existing between representatives and the people if given opportunity come 2023.

Nwaubani who featured on AFTELEVISION Programme "Focal Point' on Friday, said he would listen to his constituents, advocate for their needs and implement them with available resources.

He assured that if given the mandate, he would adopt the TIE (Transparency, Inclusiveness and Empowerment) agenda.

"I intend to bridge that gap between the populace and the governance system as it is practiced; the people's voice needs to count.

"I'll listen and I will execute; "I'll be transparent; accessible and not be distant from the people; I'll be Inclusive and empower the populace."
He noted that it is time for leaders to listen to the people especially the youths and not govern based on assumptions.

The aspirant maintained that he has the qualities to bring change to his constituency, adding that it is time for youths to delve into politics for good governance.

"I have the competencies that gives me an edge in providing innovative solutions around governance so that it meets the needs of the people.
"I believe that younger people should begin to take interest in political activities and governance of the good people of Abia state, especially Abia central. I've come out because I believe I have some competencies I can contribute to make my community better."
The senatorial hopeful noted that he chose ADC because the party has ideas that he is passionate about after making research.

"we found ADC to be good feet because of their women/youth empowerment; persons with disabilities empowerment philosophy; we also found them to be good feet because they have technocrats and not career politicians in their midst, they have professionals and people who understands our mission and what we are trying to change.
"they are encouraging good governance, they are not encouraging money politics; they are looking for good representation, technical capacity, commitment and willingness to execute" Nwaubani added.

He encouraged youths and well-meaning Abians/Nigerians to join the party because they have the philosophy that suits the current situation.

Nwaubani hails from Umuokpara Ezeleke in Umuahia South Local Government Area, he has purchased and submitted his nomination form under the ADC.
