A gas explosion on the early hours of Thursday, rocked the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, killing at least two.

Daily Trust reports that the explosion occurred around 11:am at the Marcque event centre within the Presidential Library

Technicians were topping up gas in the Air Condition (AC) when it exploded.

A worker at OOPL while speaking to newsmen said; "Two people have already been confirmed dead."

As at the time of this report, the state fire service personnel were already on ground while the security persons shut the two gates leading into OOPL, turning visitors away.
