FIFA 2022 World Cup: NFF Reveals Date for Nigeria, Ghana Clash| READ DETAILS
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed the official date for the final FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 play-off leg clash between Nigeria and Ghana.

The Black Stars of Ghana are to face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a two-legged battle for one of the coveted five slots for the Qatar World Cup fiesta.

NFF in a statement, disclosed that Nigeria and Ghana will have a pitched contest on Sunday, March 27 at the newly refurbished MKO Abiola National Stadium.

The Super Eagles under the mantle of former coach, Gernot Rohr secured a spot at the play-off round after dominating a qualifying roll that included Liberia, Cape Verde and Central African Republic.

The Ghanaian national team, nicknamed the Blacks Stars stood triumphant, beating South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia.

NFF's Spokesperson, Ademola Olajire in the statement stated the Ghana Football Association, GFA is yet to confirm the date for the first leg of the face-off. Olajire added the final leg clash will be "potentially-explosive".

The clash would be the 56th between the Anglophone countries with the first dating to the 1st of October, 1995 where Ghana secured a 1-0 win over fellow West African side, Nigeria.
