Former United states President Bill Clinton has called off his scheduled visit to Nigeria on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

Spokesman for Bill Clinton said they fear that the planned trip facilitated by the Kofi Annan Foundation and the National Peace Committee (NPC) will be politicised.

Bill Clinton was supposed to meet with the presidential candidates and also superintend the signing of a peace accord ahead of the presidential election.
Already about 42 political had threatened to boycott the peace signing if certain conditions were not met.
