Four Corp members kidnapped on their way to orientation camp

Kidnappers abducted four corp members around 11:30pm on Monday on their way to Zamfara state for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp.

The victims who were identified as Rufus Giwa Polytechnic graduates are three males and a female that were travelling on a chartered bus from Owo, Ondo state to Zamfara.

Based on the information made available to AFNews, the incident occurred at Funtua in Katsina state where the armed men abducted four of them while one escaped.

Nigerian Police spokesman DCP Frank Mba said the Katsina State Command had began manhunt for the suspects in view of rescuing the victims, while advising commuters to avoid night travels.
