FRESH ATTACK: FFK Attacks on Another Journalist In Zamfara, Blasts Ex-Gov Yari

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has been caught in another video shouting and calling another reporter stupid during his visit to Zamfara.

AFNews recalls that Fani-Kayode had apologized for using the word 'stupid' on a journalist in Calabar on Tuesday, August 25.

FFK loosed his cool on a journalist during a press conference in Calabar FFK loosed his cool on Daily Trust newspaper reporter, Eyo Charles. during a press conference in Calabar after the reporter asked 'who was bankrolling his recent trips around Nigeria.'
Giving reasons for his action, Fani-Kayode claimed the reporter was a front for his political enemies who were out to embarrass him.

The minister who served under the administration of the former Nigeria President, Olusegun Obasanjo, was condemned by Nigerian journalists and top media officials, describing his response to the question asked as 'arrogant'.
However, FFK on Wednesday morning (today) took to his Twitter handle to say he withdraw the word 'stupid' from his statement to the journalist.

But in another video that has emerged online, which his Spokesman, Emmanuel Owabor has defended, Fani-Kayode was seen attacking another reporter for asking him a "stupidÔÇØ and "very insultingÔÇØ question.

"If I had known that this is what you wanted to ask me, I would have asked you not to ask me that kind of stupid question,ÔÇØ he said.

Even when the reporter tried to clarify his question, he was prevented from doing so by the visibly angry FFK.
The former minister reminded the journalist that he has been in politics since 1990; served as a minister twice; been a presidential spokesman for 3 years and "was brought into politics by Marafan Sokoto, you understand me? Alhaji Umaru Shinkafi...ÔÇØ

He continued, "I have been a leading member of the opposition, the resistance over the last five years.

"And a day has not passed that I have not spoken about what I felt was going wrong in this country. That is because that is what opposition is meant to do and is what was done to the PDP by the APC when PDP was in power. You understand me?

"Even for you to repeat that to me is insulting at my level.

"I will speak against Yari free of charge any day, anytime. I am FFK, do you understand me?

"I take on presidents, I don't take on former governors. He (Yari) is an irritant to me,ÔÇØ he said.
Reacting to the latest video, Owabor, the former minister's media aide confirmed to Premium Times that the incident happened in Zamfara State in August after Fani-Kayode was bestowed with a traditional title in the state.

He stated that his principal's response to the reporter was "aptÔÇØ because of the question he asked.
"The reporter was asking why he (Fani-Kayode) was always against Yari, the former governor of Zamfara State; he was asking if he was sponsored or not to attack Yari,ÔÇØ Owabor said.
