FULL LIST: CJN Tanko Swear-In 72 New SANs

The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad on Monday swore in the 72 legal practitioners recently named Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SANs).

Though the CJN was absent, he was represented by the next most senior Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour.

Speaking at the swearing-in, Justice Rhodes-Vivour warned the new SANs against disobeying court orders.

The legal practitioners are awarded the rank of SAN in recognition of excellence and for having distinguished themselves as Advocates and Academics.
