GOOD NEWS: Nine COVID-19 patients recover in Lagos

Lagos state has transferred five of the 59 reported COVID-19 cases to Ogun state.

Lagos Commissioner for Health Professor Akin Abayomi made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday.

According to him, the total number of transferred cases are eight.

The commissioner also announced the recovery of nine more coronavirus patients.

Five of the recovered patients are females while four are males.

The total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos now stands at 438.

He tweeted "59 new #COVID19 cases were confirmed in Lagos on April 21, 2020.

"Total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos now stands at 438.

"5 of the cases previously reported in Lagos state have been transferred to Ogun state.
