GOV. IKPEAZU CALLS ON ABIANS TO BRING INVESTMENTS HOME, ASSURES KALTANI GROUP OF SUPPORT

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has called on well-meaning
Abians and Nigerians to be patriotic by establishing their businesses and
investments in the State.

Governor Ikpeazu
made the call when an Abian born industrialist and the Founder and Chief
Executive Officer of KALTANI Group Of Companies and his team paid him a
courtesy call at Government House, Umuahia .

The Governor noted that Mr Obi Nnanna pet project of
Plastic Bottle Wash And Recycling Plant
Will not only provide employment
opportunities, but assist Government tackle the environmental problems
and desire to ensure Abia is made cleaner for all.

Governor Ikpeazu represented by his Deputy, Sir Ude Oko
lauded Mr Obi Nnanna for showing high
sense of patriotism and love for his homeland by citing his industry in the
state which apart from its multiplier effect on the economy , is also a way of
heading to his clarion call to Abia entrepreneurs to come and invest in the
state as govt alone cannot provide all the jobs for its teaming population.

He reassured of the preparedness of the present
administration to continue providing an enabling environment for business to
thrive and called on other well meaning abians to do the needful while
promising to accord his team all the necessary assistance that will enable him
succeed in his business enterprise.

Earlier in his speech, the Chief Executive Officer of
KACTANI LTD, Mr Obi Charles Nnanna who disclosed that his company is
establishing a pet plastic bottle wash and Recycling plant to be situated along
the Enugu PH Express way to reduce the impact of pet plastic pollution in the
state and other south Eastern states in a bid to have a social and environmental effect on the state.

Mr Nnanna said they are partnering the state government in
the area of providing employment for the unskilled labour and appealed to the governor to assist
them in their desire to recycle waste products produced in the state.
