Governor Alex Otti worshipped at the Aba North Conference Headquarters of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where he congratulated the newly elected officers during the 4th Quadrennial Session. He emphasized the need for service, integrity, and leadership with a clear vision.
On Saturday, December 14, 2024, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, the Executive Governor of Abia State, and his wife, Her Excellency, Mrs. Priscilla Chidimma Otti, participated in worship services at the Aba North Conference Headquarters of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, located in Uhum, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area (LGA). The event marked the conclusion of the church's 4th Quadrennial Session and the consecration of newly elected principal and executive officers who will lead the church for the coming term.

In his address to the congregation, Governor Otti expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected officers, urging them to prioritize service and integrity in their leadership roles. He emphasized that the eyes of the people are upon them, and they will be judged not by what they say, but by what they do. Governor Otti encouraged the officers to develop a written vision for their leadership and to regularly review their progress to ensure alignment with their goals. He reminded them that their election was not for personal gain but to serve the people and the community.

The Governor prayed for divine wisdom and strength for the new officers, asking God to grant them the ability to succeed in their roles and lead with integrity.
The worship service also featured a powerful sermon by Pastor (Dr.) Bassey Udoh, President of the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference (ENUC) of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Pastor Udoh urged the congregation to serve God with the gifts they have received, using the biblical example of Hannah from 1 Samuel 2, who vowed to dedicate her child to God's service. He also emphasized the importance of thanksgiving, describing it as "an application for more.ÔÇØ
