Gov. Soludo Mourns Be-headed Lawmaker, Okechukwu Okoye, Places Bounty | READ DETAILS
Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has placed a Ten Million Naira bounty on the killers of his lawmaker, Hon. Okechukwu Okoye and Cyril Chiegbuka.

Okoye was the member representing Aguata state constituency in the Anambra state House of Assembly.

The duo were kidnapped on May 15, 2022.

On Saturday, May 21, the freshly be-headed head of of Okoye was seen, placed in a carton by the roadside at the Chisco Park in Amichi community with a handwritten note ' more heads will roll".

Mourning the deceased, the governor wrote on his social media handle;

Hon. Okechukwu Okoye (Okey dị okay) and Cyril Chiegboka were murdered in the most gruesome manner. No human being should ever have to experience death in that way. For no just reason, rampaging criminals have elected to desecrate our land with the blood of the innocent.
