The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of renowned evangelist and global Christian leader, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, describing his passing as a monumental loss to Abia State, Nigeria, and the entire body of Christ.

In a condolence message personally signed by the Governor and released through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Governor Otti described the late evangelist as "a father of all, a soldier of Christ, and a generational teacher whose ministry transformed countless lives across the world.ÔÇØ

The Governor, who recounted the father-son relationship that existed between him and the late cleric, said Rev. Ukpai's demise has created "a massive vacuum in Christendom, the state, and the nation.ÔÇØ

"Our father in the Lord, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai has, to the joy of the Heavens and the celebration of Angels, gone to be with the Lord. He yielded himself to Christ and became a potent instrument for healing, salvation, and the fulfillment of God's word. His death is devastating because of the positive influence he wielded and the lives he touched in very special ways,ÔÇØ Otti stated.

Governor Otti described Rev. Ukpai's death not as an end, but as a transition to higher glory, adding that the revered preacher's legacy will continue to shine through the institutions he established and the millions of souls he led to Christ.
