Goodluck Jonathan Bags New International Appointment | READ DETAILS

Ex President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has been congratulated by a Socio-Cultural Organization, The Unity Group(TUG) on his recent appointment as member of the international advisory board of the European Corporate Council in Africa and the Middle East.

European Corporate Council in Africa and the Middle East(ECAM), a non-profit organization established with the purpose of promoting and developing relations between the countries of Europe, Africa and the Middle East and North Africa region with Italy playing a lead role, has recorded Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as the first Sub-Saharan African Leader to serve on the board.

TUG in a statement signed on Wednesday by its National Co-ordinator, Chief Johnny Metchie, who is also the President-General of Umueri General Assembly and National Secretary, Bonaventure Phillips Melah, a veteran journalist and author, stated that the appointment was yet another testimony of Jonathan's ever rising profile as an international statesman and a rare personality of focus.

TUG further commended President Muhammadu Buhari, for his total support to Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, as well as the unreserved deployment of presidential and diplomatic protocols at his disposal, as he shuttles from one country to another, carrying out his global assignments of waging peace and reconciling countries and peoples in conflict, among other callings.

The group, therefore, prayed that Jonathan may have good health and other fruits of grace to further serve Nigeria and the world as God may direct him.
