Gyokeres to Arsenal: Gunners finally reach total agreement with Sporting to sign hottest striker in Europe
Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres for Ôé¼73.5m total package.
The saga is finally over as Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal to sign their top target Viktor Gyokeres for Ôé¼63.5m plus Ôé¼10m.

There is a verbal agreement in place, but finer details need to be ironed out before the switch can be completed.

Gyokeres was focused only on joining Arsenal and was focused on moving to the Emirates despite late interest from elsewhere.

According to the Athletic, The 27-year-old's agent also waived his commission to help complete the deal, and the striker is expected to sign a contract until June 2030.

Arsenal have been desperate to add a high-level striker for more than two seasons, and will be pleased to have finally struck an agreement to bring in one of the best forwards in Europe.

Gyokeres scored 54 goals for Sporting last season and was tracked by numerous clubs across Europe.
Arsenal have been aggressive in the market, signing Midfielders Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard from Real Sociedad and Brentford, respectively, while goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and winger Noni Madueke have arrived from Chelsea.
