A bouncer identified as Francis Utuedor has allegedly stabbed a 15-year-old boy- Oghenemaro Eriana to death for picking money at a wedding reception in Delta State.

The sad incident happened on Saturday, September 25 at Wetland hotel in Mofor, Udu Local Government Area of the State.

According to eyewitness report, the deceased was trying to pick up money sprayed on the couple at the wedding reception, when the bouncer confronted him and stabbed him to death.

Late Eriana was said to have attended the reception with his mother as the groom was their neighbour at Kolokolo street.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright, while confirming the incident on Monday, September 27 said the suspect has been arrested and the case has been transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), while they await autopsy report.
