How Burglar Was Caught Trying To Break Into A Lagos Bank | READ MORE
One Azeez Isah, aged 43, was in the early hours of Sunday, caught while trying to break into a bank in Maple Estate around Oko-oba area of Lagos state.

According to the Lagos state police command's public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, the suspect was caught after operatives received a distress call at about 4:20am notifying them of an ongoing robbery incident.

The suspect who had destroyed some of the bank doors, was trying to make his way in when officers of the command arrived at the scene.

"We got the distress call around 4.20 am and our patrol team responded swiftly. The man was arrested while still breaking the door. He is in police custody and is currently being interrogatedÔÇØ Hundeyin said.
No weapon was found on him except a house breaking equipment.

Speaking to newsmen on the incident, an anonymous source said;

"The security guards attached to the bank heard the sound of someone hitting an object early in the morning.

"They traced the sound and found a man using a sledgehammer to hit the security door. He kept hitting the door repeatedly without minding that the sound could attract the attention of people around there.ÔÇØ
