How 'Doctor' Used Fake Credit Alert To Lodge In A Hotel With Lover | DETAILS
A fake doctor identified as Philip Agbe Chukwuemeka has been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command at NTA Road, Port Harcourt, for paying for services using fake credit alert.

The suspect had claimed to be a medical doctor working at the Enugu State Teaching Hospital, but, upon interrogation was found to be untrue.

The suspect who hails from Umuhunvosi village in the Isiala-Ngwa south Local Government Area of Abia State had dropped out of University of Nigeria in year 2 (200 level) according to the investigations.

The suspect had met a lady via Badoo social media platform and had travelled from Enugu to meet her in person where he paid for his lodge during their date using fake credit alerts for services that totaled about N111, 000.

He was subsequently arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for investigation and possible prosecution.

Advising the residents on behalf of commissioner of Police in the state, the spokesperson for the command, DSP Grace Iringe-Koko, urged them to be careful with strangers they meet on social media and be quick to report individuals with deceptive.
