Speaking during an exclusive interview on Arise Television, Governor Otti expressed shock over what he described as a deliberate attempt to deceive the public with the commissioning of a government house that was not only incomplete but a façade of luxury covering up a structural void.
"On May 28, just a day before the end of his tenure, my predecessor commissioned what he called a new government house. But the truth? It was a fraud," Otti revealed.

According to the governor, the ground floor of the building had been cosmetically completed and furnished with expensive Italian furniture to give the impression of a fully completed project. However, upon further inspection after his inauguration, he discovered that the upper floors were in raw skeletal form - not even plastered, with no electrical fittings, plumbing, or basic finishing.
"I was initially impressed by the ground floor, until I climbed to the upper floors. No plaster, no sanitary fittings, just cement and bricks. It was a staged fraud," Otti stated.

While responding to whether he would probe the former governor, Otti explained that his administration has too much work to be distracted by what he termed "destructive pursuits." However, he noted that a forensic audit had already uncovered some damning evidence, particularly regarding a 10 billion withdrawal for a non-existent airport project.

"We brought in KPMG to audit the finances, and what they found is alarming. A whopping 10 billion was withdrawn - allegedly for an airport project that doesn't exist. We are saying, return the money or give us the airport," Otti added.
