Tragedy struck in Nise, Anambra, as gunmen invaded the home of a native doctor, killing his three young sons and leaving their bodies in a parked car. The shocking incident has left the community reeling, with police launching an urgent investigation into the motive behind the killings.

Residents of Nise in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State were thrown into mourning over the weekend following the gruesome murder of three children by unidentified gunmen. The victims, sons of a native doctor, were found lifeless in their home under horrifying circumstances.

The attack reportedly occurred late Saturday night when the assailants scaled the fence to gain entry into the compound. The bodies of the three boys, aged between two and six, were discovered tied and dumped in a parked Mercedes Benz within the compound.

Speaking on the incident, the spokesperson for the Anambra State Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, revealed that the command had launched a manhunt for the perpetrators.

"The assailants entered the compound, killed the victims, and dumped their corpses inside a parked Mercedes Benz in the compound. We are investigating whether this tragedy is connected to personal conflicts involving their father or another motive entirely. Findings will be made public as soon as investigations are concluded,ÔÇØ Ikenga stated.

A source close to the family, who requested anonymity, shared shocking details about the children's deaths. "Their mouths were tied when the bodies were found. It's also been reported that the father had a habit of locking his wife and children in the house while he was away,ÔÇØ the source disclosed.

The father, a local native doctor, is said to have been embroiled in conflicts with unidentified individuals, though it remains unclear if these disputes were linked to the heinous act.
