How Gunmen Killed APC Youth Leader In Enugu | READ DETAILS

An All Progressive Congress (APC) Youth Leader, Kelvin Ezeoha has reportedly been killed by gunmen in Enugu State.

Ezeoha and one other person were said to have been killed while members of the Ward 3 Obeagu Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area chapter of the party were having a meeting on Tuesday evening, January 18, 2022.

Sources told PUNCH that the meeting was being held to reconcile members from the two factions of the party when the gun-wielding men numbering over seven stormed the venue, killing the two party members instantly before whisking away one other person.

Confirming the incident on Wednesday, a chieftain of the APC, Mr Sunday Olinya, said;

"Some gunmen invaded the Enugu South LGA APC meeting on Tuesday evening while their meeting was in progress and opened fire on the party members.

"They killed the immediate past Enugu South Local Government Chairman of the party, now the incumbent state youth leader, Mr. Kelvin Ezeoha, and one other person, while a party member was kidnapped."

The state police command is yet to react to the incident as at press time.
