How NSCDC Arrested Suspects Who Allegedly Kidnapped Teenager In A Hotel
Operatives of the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), have arrested 13 suspects for allegedly kidnapping an 18-year-old girl identified simply as Elizabeth in Kogi State.

The suspects were paraded on Tuesday April 12, by the state Commandant of the NSCDC, Suleiman Mafara.

They are; Mohammed Abdul (25), Mohammed Ibrahim (24), Samuel Adesina (23), Malik Mohammed (24), Olatoyor Mathew (26), Tenimu Abubakar (25), Shittu Ibrahim, Momoh Friday (22), Abdullah Idris (21), Oluyomi Adesewa (24), Mariam Mohammed (22), Yakubu Neifisat (25), and Samson Rosemary (22).

Speaking to newsmen while parading the suspects, Mafara disclosed that Elizabeth was kidnapped on Sunday, April 10, 2022 by the gang led by one Godwin Daniel who is currently at large.

He said Intelligence report made available to the Corps disclosed their hideout in a hotel where they were arrested.

"The suspects, led by one Godwin Daniel, kidnapped Miss Elizabeth and took her to a hotel here in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital. My officers, through intelligence reports, tracked their location and arrested these 13 suspects. Their gang leader, as I speak to you, is on the run. We are going to apprehend him as soon as possibleÔÇØ Mafara stated.

Items recovered from the suspects include Indian hemp, charms, weapons, and a Honda car.

According to the Commandant, the suspects will be charged to court after further investigation for possible prosecution.
