How Police Nabbed ATM Fraudster With N1.6m In Katsina

One Aliyu Abdullahi, an alleged ATM fraudster, has been arrested in possession of several ATM cards belonging to different persons in Katsina state.

The suspect, who hails from Kasuwar-Mata in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State, defraud people who cannot operate ATMs while pretending to assist them.

The suspect confessed to committing the crime and admitted to have duped unsuspecting victims not less than N1.5million using their ATM cards.
While parading the suspect on Monday, May 31, before newsmen, the state police command's spokesman, Isah Gambo, said;

"the suspect specializes in exchanging his ATM cards with that of his victim's in the name of helping them.ÔÇØ

Gambo also mentioned that charms, several ATM cards, four cartons of spaghetti, four bottles of juice and over N1.6 million of victims money were recovered from the fraudster.
