A policeman, one Corporal Roland Agbovi Tetteh, has been arrested for allegedly ra-ping a 17-year-old female suspect in his custody.

According to report, the victim, Precious Azumah was brought to the police station for allegedly stealing from her ex boyfriend.

While in custody, she was said to have vomited in the cell which made the Corporal to open her cell for her to clean up the mess.

According to her in a statement, Tetteh started fondling her br-east which she resisted. She added that the continued harassment had made her escape from custody but was re-arrested.

On Thursday, January 20, 2022 at about 11:30pm, the officer allegedly rap-ed her after he opened the cell for her to bath in the bathroom.

She said the officer who stood in the bathroom until she finished bathing warned her not to inform anyone of the alleged rape.

The victim has been given a medical form to take to the hospital while Corporal Agbovi Tetteh has been arrested and given Police enquiry bail.
