How School Proprietor Killed 5-Year-Old Pupil In Kano | READ DETAILS/PHOTOS

Five year old Hanifa Abubakar a pupil of Noble Kids School in Kano state who was declared missing last December has been found dead.

Abubakar was kidnapped on December 4, 2021 on her way coming back from Islammiya school at Kawaji, in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state. Her abductors had contacted the family demanding for N6m ransom.

The state police command and sister agencies arrested the school proprietor- Abdulmalik Mohammed Tanko (30) and one Hashim Isyaku (37) on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 while trying to collect ransom.

According to the State Police Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, Tanko confirmed that the pupil was his student at a private school in Kwanar Dakata, Nassarawa LGA.

The prime suspect was said to have taken the victim to his house, requesting his wife to take care of her but she refused. He reportedly kept Abubakar in the school where he poisoned her after she recognized him.

Tanko and Isyaku, cut the pupil into pieces, packed the body parts in a bag and buried her in a shallow grave .

"On the 18/12/2021, having realized that, the victim recognized him, he claimed to have poisoned her to death, conspired with one Hashim Isyaku, 'm', took and buried her in a shallow grave located at the private school premises located at Kwanar 'Yan Gana, Tudun Murtala Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State," the police spokesman said.

He said Hashim also confessed that sometime in November, 2021, the principal suspect, Mohammed, met him and one Fatima Jibreel Musa, 27 years old, of Layin Falaki Tudun Murtala Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, and ordered them to kidnap Hanifa.

The suspects led a combined team of DSS Operatives and Kano State Police Command's Medical Team to where they buried the body.

The medical team exhumed the body which was taken to Mohammed Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital Kano, where it was examined and subsequently released to the relatives for burial, according to Islamic Rites (Thursday, January 20).

The police said the case will be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
