Two suspected truck battery thieves were on Wednesday night, September 1, stealing truck batteries in Tudun Wada community, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Report said the suspects, Joseph Aguly (19), and Ahmadu (27), were caught red-handed by the community vigilante group at about 10pm.

The duo allegedly sneaked into Jolex Construction Company site and stole two GBM truck batteries worth about N150,000 each.

They were tied together to a pole by the vigilante group.

According to an eyewitness, the duo were noticed by a passerby who alerted the vigilante group.
