How Traffic Officer Allegedly Killed Bus Driver In Kaduna | READ DETAILS

A Marshal with the Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Agency (KASTLEA), has allegedly beaten a bus driver to death.

The incident happened along Ali Akilu road, Unguwar Sarki on Friday at about 4pm. The yet to be identified driver was said to have been hit on the head following a quarrel over vehicle particulars between the driver and the official.

Confirming the incident to newsmen, Kaduna State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP MohammedÔÇÄ Jalige, said the Commissioner of Police Mudassiru Abdullahi had ordered the arrest of those behind the incident.

"There was an altercation between KASTLEA and some drivers. They beat him and was rushed to hospital where he died. So, the drivers decided to block the main road in protest but we stopped them," he said.

On his own part, the General Manager KASTLEA Corps, MÔÇÄashal Garba Yahaya Rimi, said he is yet to receive the full details of what happened as at press time.
