I Am Refreshed, Ready For The Task Ahead - Tinubu Says As He Returns

After spending thirty four days in Paris, France, the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, returned back to Nigeria on Monday, April 24.

Tinubu, wife, Remi and son, Seyi,were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 4.40 pm by his supporters, All Progressives Congress (APC) governors, National Assembly leaders and other party faithfuls.

Addressing journalist and his supporters at his Asokoro home, the president-elect refuted claims that he went to France for medical treatment and assured that he is refreshed and ready to carry out the task ahead.

"I am happy to be back. I have rested, I'm refreshed and I'm ready for the task ahead. Forget about what the rumour mill may have told you. I'm strong, very strongÔÇØ he said.

Taking also to his social media handles, Tinubu restated his commitment to ensure that the hope of Nigerians are renewed.
