Ibezim Celebrates Otti at 61, Backs 2027 Re-Election, Says 'New Abia' Must Not Be Derailed

A prominent political stakeholder in Isuikwuato and Chairman of Grandcorp Holdings, Ma'azi Chinedumije Ibezim, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, as he marks his 61st birthday, applauding what he described as the bold rebirth of a "New AbiaÔÇØ under Otti's leadership.

In a statement made available to All Facts Newspaper on Wednesday, Ibezim said Governor Otti's new age is symbolic of renewed hope and measurable transformation across Abia State.

According to him, the current administration has redefined governance through infrastructural renewal, fiscal discipline, improved transparency, and a people-focused leadership style that has restored confidence in public service.

Ibezim noted that the concept of a "New AbiaÔÇØ championed by Governor Otti is no longer a political slogan but a visible reality reflected in road construction, urban renewal, improved sanitation, civil service reforms, and prompt payment structures within the state.

He commended the Governor's determination to tackle long-standing structural decay, stating that Abians can now see and feel the impact of governance in their daily lives.

"Governor Otti has demonstrated that leadership is about courage, competence, and character. The New Abia we spoke about is steadily taking shape before our eyes,ÔÇØ Ibezim stated.

He further described Otti as a visionary leader whose policies are laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth and investor confidence in Abia State.

The Grandcorp Chairman used the occasion to declare his full support for Governor Otti's re-election in 2027, insisting that continuity is necessary to consolidate ongoing reforms.

He warned that those he described as "political hyenasÔÇØ who allegedly plundered Abia State for 24 years are regrouping but will ultimately be put to shame.

"No matter the shenanigans of those who mismanaged our state in the past and are now gathering again, Abians are wiser. We must make sure we retire all of them permanently from the political space,ÔÇØ he declared.
